PRODUCT REVIEW; Bosch IXO Cordless screwdriver 3.6v

I have had one of these Cordless drivers in my toolkit for ages now and dont know why i didnt invest in one sooner.
This cordelss screwdriver is compact and not a lot bigger than most peoples hand but, wow, it pack a punch when it comes to screwing in and taking out screws.
The general layout of the screwdirver is excelent, with basic, simple controls right at your fingertips or thumb, in the case of the reverse switch.
Features
  • soft grip handle
  • easy click in/out magnetic bit holder
  • LED light
  • forward/rverse action
  • compact carry case [strong]
  • trickle charger
  • wall mount kit for charger

On average I got about 30 mins work time with each full charge and you will need to charge it for several hours for a full charge.
Although for a 'quick fix' I found 15mins charge gave me enough power for emergency work.
Nice touch is the fact that the charger can be wall mounted and the driver hooked into it which will keep it fully charged and ready at all times.
This is a must - keep it hooker into the charge base when not in use.

This Bosch IXO Cordless screwdriver 3.6v with Lithium ion technology is not the fastest kid on the block so cannot be used for any type of drilling. The RPM is slow and the torque high - ideal for putting in screws.
MainAdvantages
Without doubt the main advantage of this tool over other 'conventional' cordeless drivers is its compact one hand operation esspecially in confined spaces.
The addition of the LED light at the front which shines right where you are working is a great feature.
I use this for adjusting kitchen cabinet doors where space is confined, the speed is just right for this job and the one handed operation leaves your other hand free to hold and adjust the door.
Mine came with about 10 bits, but just about any hexagonal universal screwdriver bit will fit.
Typical Bosch build quality means I also got a 2 year guarrentee. not bad at all.
I'm a builder and I find this a little screwdriver a great addition to my tool kit but it would work equally as well with anyone.

My Verdict
Amazing little tool - does exactly what its been designed to do

I would highly recommend it.
